“Kei” is a shortened name taken from the Japanese pronunciation of 「嚴 慶文」(GEN Keibun).
Kei was born in China and moved to Hong Kong for studies and work. In the summer of 2018, he relocated to Kyoto, Japan, where he now works as a software engineer.
Since then, he began exploring analog photography. In 2023, he started a new journey into darkroom printing and built his own little darkroom.
